ravex is an electronic music group established to mark the 20th anniversary of the avex label. This album guests various other artists on the avex label such as BoA, LISA and MONKEY MAJIK.

Tezuka Productions provided art, animation and the use of Osamu Tezuka characters to the project, producing an OVA titled 'Ravex In Tezuka World' bundled with the CD+DVD release of the trax album, predominantly featuring the music as it's soundtrack.
