Synopsis
       During Middle-school Ayase Chihaya befriends the transfer student Wataya Arata whose life appears dedicated to the traditional competitive card game Karuta. After playing Arata for the first time Chihaya becomes determined to able to compete his level one day. Along with Mashima Taichi, Chihaya's childhood friend; they have great fun playing each other and participating in group matches, but separate after graduation.
Four years later, Chihaya believes that she will see Arata again as long as she continues Karuta. Together with Taichi, she establishes the Mizusawa High-school Karuta Club.
