Ichigo Hoshimiya is a typical, ditzy middle school girl who has no idea what her future holds. But when her best friend Aoi invites her to join the idol training academy Starlight Academy, her whole world is turned upside down.
Ichigo learns what it means to be an idol, befriends rivals and takes part in auditions using Aikatsu Cards, which store clothes and accessories by various designers.
